Just wanted to give a quick review on our AOS interview in Denver. We had a really positive experience. The interview officer we had was very pleasant and made us feel comfortable. We had to show my drivers license and social security and my husbands Drivers license as well. I had to confirm all yes or no I-485 questions out loud the ones they ask on your application. I also had to verify my full name and my husband's full name and both of our birth dates and my address and phone number. The officer did this to verify what I had put down on my application. He talked to my husband about sports for awhile breaking the ice, and asked what my husband did for a living and what I did for a living. He did not ask us for any proof of relationship although we had files of proof and did not ask to see the photos. It was over before I knew it and I was so relieved. I was green card approved and now I just wait for it in the mail which should take only 3 weeks. The only advice I can give... read complete review

We arrived 30 minutes early and didn't get called until 30 minutes after our scheduled time. The woman was very nice and copied both our id's and passports. She started the tape recorder and swore us in. She asked my husband how many times he visited me in the Philippines and then took notes of the dates. She asked how we met and went over my application. She asked me the questions on the application about terrorism, etc. After going over the app she asked to see any supporting documents like joint accounts and insurance. She seemed pleased that all the papers I gave her she could keep since they were all copies. She didn't want to see photos or mail addressed to me at our address. She said I will receive my Green Card within 3 weeks and to continue our happy marriage. We had alot of evidence to show that was not needed but it's better to be safe then sorry.

Centennial CO (not really Denver)
Adjusting from K3:
Interviewers name Ray Yeo. Nice guy, very friendly but a tad weird. He kept comparing me to his son (I'm female lol)more interested in my education than any AoS stuff really.
Questions asked:
Is this a happy ever after?
directed to hubby - Is she still head over heals for you?
Where did you go to school?
What did you study?
What kind of Theology?
blah blah blah you get the point..many more of these type questions
So what joint info do you have?
Any questions?
Did not want to see joint mail, photos, trips or anything along those lines just joint assets.
end of interview we were told why he asked so many questions about my education and again it was about his son because I talk quickly and apparently that makes us smart people. lol Whatever!! Result was 'I'll review your file and you'll know something within 2-3 ... read complete review
